    “Soldat Flamboyant is a Soldier Of Fortune gelding who had been a well Beaten fifth behind Master Splinter at Dromahane at the turn of the month. This nicely bred, half brother to four-time winner Evander stepped forward greatly from that run here when a staying on second. Although never a danger to the winner, he saw his race out very well in the straight and went second shortly after the last. The run should have offered his connections plenty of encouragement and he should go one better in similar company in the autumn without too much difficulty.” -P2P.IE
