  • Vendor's Notes: Cape Sunset is a five year old bay gelding by the Irish stallion Gutaifan out of the Oratorio mare Cape Factor.

    As a two year old his sire Gutaifan won the Prix Robert Papin (Gr2), the Flying Childers Stakes (Gr2) and finished second in the Prix Morny (Gr1) so is an influential source of speed. The dam Cape Factor won the Bosra Sham Stakes (L) and ran over distances from 6f to 1m.
    He is a good looking horse who caught the eye of the Shadwell team who paid 210,000 guineas for him as a yearling. He is very lightly raced as he has been slow to mature, but from his four lifetime starts he has been placed three times. He is fit and ready to go on with.
