Vendor's Notes: A winner on his hurdling debut at Pau on New Year's Eve, Zurich is an impeccably-bred son of Doctor Dino and is a high-class National Hunt prospect.

An imposing individual, he stands at 16'2 and showed a lot of natural ability to defy his inexperience, getting the better of 117 & 118-rated rivals in third and fourth, having travelled noticeably well throughout.

Zurich is out of a winning hurdler, herself a half-sister to two black-type hurdlers in France, as well as to the granddam of the high-class, Grade 2 winner Botox Has. Zurich’s granddam is a half-sister to dual Grade 2-winning hurdler Starzaan and to Group 1 Prix du Jockey-Club third Sestino.

39% of Doctor Dino's runners in GB & Ire last season were rated 125+ and 12% rated 150+, including State Man, Sharjah and Sceau Royal, with Dinoblue his latest Grade 1 winner over Christmas. From his crop of five year olds alone, he already has a double-figure number of black-type performers.
